Making excuses is a part of life. For some, excuses are practically a way of life, becoming so common that it’s almost tempting to call them a routine. Everybody is guilty of it, but for Catholics, the habit of making excuses can be dangerous. Your Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit would like you to know why.
When a person experiences hardships in life, it can begin to shape the tone for who that person is to become. Hardships have the potential to help us grow, but on the other hand, they can also turn into an excuse NOT to grow.
