UNDERSTANDING THE HISTORY OF OLD ST. MARY’S CHURCH IN DETROIT


Known as the City of Churches, Detroit, Michigan is the home to some of the oldest churches in United States of America. So much so that some of the churches are even much older than United States itself. One of the oldest churches in the city is Old St. Mary’s Church. It is the first German Church built in Detroit and the third oldest Roman Catholic Church in the area after St. Anne and Most Holy Trinity.
